This weekend Steven's team played in their 3rd tournament. They lost all 3 games. The 2 on Saturday were brutal (19-0 & 14-4) and the kids made many errors. But today? Today was the best game EVER! We still lost 9-2, but the kids made great defensive plays, were hitting the ball and kept the game close the entire time. This game was against the same team that beat us 19-0 yesterday, they are a great team and have been playing together for a few years. Todays game was one of our first to make it 6 full innings~! It was competitive, fun to watch and full of action. We only had 9 kids playing this weekend -so they were playing non-stop. Here is a shot of Steven after as the coaches were talking. He was worn out! But thrilled with how the game went.
