Christmas Day

We had a late night, so Christmas Day the kids were not up until 7:30am. Luckily we had the coffee pot set ahead of time -so it was ready to go. Santa didn't wrap his gifts this year -so right away Jackson saw his new skateboard and Steven his MP3 player. The gifts under the tree were wrapped color coded (and looked good to me LOL) and they eagerly awaited me telling them who's color was which. Everyone got things they wanted and were grateful for the gifts. In addition we spent alot of time together -playing the new games, building with new Star Wars legos and just being a family.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went to my parents house. My brother Brian's family was also there. We were joined by my aunt Maggie, Jonathan's grandma and Brian's friends David and Traci. We had a great dinner of my moms lasagna, fresh rolls and salads. Then came present time. There were lots of presents and the kids had a blast. They gathered around my father to work as "elves."

one typical family

The purpose of this blog is to share with our friends that we are just your everyday, average family. We do the normal, everyday things that people do. We hope you enjoy reading and seeing our life.

Welcome to our blog!

My goal for 2006 is to stay more in touch with family and friends throughout the year. So I am setting up this blog & planning to update it with new posts at least weekly. I hope you will visit us again soon!~
